  Noodat.com (also called Splearch.com) is a web search classification tool built by Ryan Bender and Jason Davis, who met as students at MIT.  Simply enter your search query in the box provided and the resulting search results will be classified into boxes.  Use the categories to refine your search or find relevant information.  After using the tools you'll soon be able to say you "knew that" as well.

Ryan Bender is an independent software designer and consultant living in the SF Bay Area.  Ryan hails from beautiful New Jersey, and attended MIT where he studied artificial intelligence with Marvin Minsky and Patrick Winston.  Ryan currently focuses on software systems in the health care industry to help doctors automate their processes.

 

Jason Davis is a graduate student at Stanford studying collaborative innovation in the computer industry.  Jason grew up in Utah, and attended MIT and Caltech where he studied in the Koch lab.  Information about Jason can be found on his personal webpages or on his blogs. Jason currently focuses on understanding organizations from a complexity theory perspective.
